Design

The Whoop MG Life features a screen-free design, setting it apart from traditional smartwatches and fitness trackers. Instead of displaying data directly on the device, all health and fitness metrics are delivered through the WHOOP mobile app, where users can view detailed insights and analytics.

This minimalist approach allows the wearable to remain lightweight and distraction-free while focusing on continuous biometric monitoring.

Performance

Operating System

The Whoop MG Life operates through the WHOOP mobile app platform, which processes and interprets collected biometric data to deliver actionable insights. The app provides daily recovery scores, sleep analysis, strain metrics, and personalized recommendations to improve performance and overall wellness.

The Whoop MG Life uses enhanced sensors capable of capturing data up to 26 times per second, combined with a redesigned processor that improves power efficiency and performance.

Key Features

The Whoop MG Life includes advanced health and performance tracking features designed for continuous monitoring:

• Medical-grade ECG readings for heart rhythm analysis
• Blood pressure insights and cardiovascular monitoring
• 24/7 biometric tracking including heart rate, HRV, respiration, and skin temperature
• Sleep tracking and recovery analysis with personalized recommendations
• Strain monitoring to measure daily physical exertion
• Stress monitoring based on autonomic nervous system signals
• Healthspan and biological age insights through the WHOOP platform
• Wear-anywhere design compatible with WHOOP Body apparel for different sports

These features help users better understand how training, recovery, sleep, and lifestyle affect overall health and performance.

Battery

The Whoop MG Life is engineered for long-lasting performance with a battery life of over 14 days on a single charge. The device supports charging through a Wireless PowerPack, which allows the band to recharge while still being worn, ensuring uninterrupted health tracking.

With optional accessories, users can extend battery operation for nearly a month before needing to recharge the PowerPack itself.

Connectivity

The Whoop MG Life connects to smartphones using Bluetooth, enabling seamless data synchronization with the WHOOP mobile app. The device is compatible with Android and iOS devices and integrates with fitness platforms and health ecosystems for deeper data analysis.

Because the wearable does not include built-in GPS or display functions, it relies on the connected smartphone for location tracking and visualization of health metrics.
