Samsung Galaxy M47 Full Specs

Pros

• 6 years of OS + security updates — longest support window in its price bracket, beating Redmi/Realme/POCO/iQOO rivals who typically offer 2-3 years
• Gorilla Glass Victus+ on front and back — flagship-tier drop/scratch protection rarely seen below
• 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging and Bypass Charging for cooler, longer gaming sessions
• 120Hz Super AMOLED display, FHD+, up to 1400 nits peak brightness
• Fast memory/storage: LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 — noticeably quicker than the LPDDR4X found in most competitors at this price
• NFC + Samsung Wallet support, plus solid AI features (Object Eraser, Circle to Search, Gemini integration)
• OIS on the main 50MP camera with 4K video on both front and rear

Cons

• Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is underwhelming for the price — it’s a modest chipset, and some reviewers argue it doesn’t meaningfully outperform older mid-range silicon, so don’t oversell gaming/performance
• Ultrawide (5MP) and macro (2MP) lenses are low-value — mostly there for the spec sheet, limited real-world use
• No wireless charging, no 3.5mm headphone jack
• USB-C 2.0 only — slower data transfer than USB 3.x rivals offer
• Risk of long-term lag: promising 6 years of updates on modest hardware raises concerns about performance degradation in later years, per some reviewers
• Hybrid SIM slot — you sacrifice the second SIM to add microSD storage, not a fully independent slot
