Design

The Insta360 X5 features a rugged chassis with a 2.5-inch touchscreen LCD for easy preview and control directly on the camera. Its replaceable lens system adds real-world durability; you can swap damaged lenses and keep shooting without downtime. With waterproofing to 15 m without housing and support for an Invisible Dive Case down to 60 m, it’s built for outdoor adventures and underwater exploration.

Image Quality

The Insta360 X5 is equipped with large 1/1.28″ sensors and a wide 170° field of view that delivers richer colours, greater detail, and brighter imagery than previous models. Its PureVideo mode, powered by AI and dual image processing chips, enhances low-light performance and dynamic range, producing crisp visuals in a variety of lighting conditions.

Audio

Thanks to an all-new Wind Guard design and improved audio algorithms, the Insta360 X5 captures clearer stereo sound with less wind interference; ideal for action shots, motorcycle riding, or beach scenes.

Creative Shooting Modes

The Insta360 X5 supports a rich suite of modes, including:

• InstaFrame Mode: simultaneous flat and 360° recording.
• PureVideo & Active HDR: enhanced low-light and balanced exposure.
• Bullet Time, Timelapse, TimeShift: creative motion effects.
• Single-Lens Mode: classic action cam capture in up to 4K60fps.

Waterproof & Durability

The Insta360 X5’s IP68 waterproofing lets you shoot underwater up to 49 ft (15 m) without additional housing. Pair it with the Invisible Dive Case to go as deep as 197 ft (60 m) while capturing distortion-free footage, perfect for snorkeling or deep dives.

Battery & Operating Time

The Insta360 X5 is powered by a 2400 mAh battery that delivers up to ~185 minutes of runtime in Endurance Mode (5.7K 24fps) and around 88 minutes at 8K30fps; enough for extended shoots or all-day adventures. Fast charging takes the battery to 80 % in ~20 min when using a compatible charger.
